MY JOB CHART, Founder & CEO, Gregg Murset, CFP® answers some questions about myjobchart.com. My Job Chart is a free online chore chart and reward system for teaching, organizing and motivating your kids to Save, Share and Spend responsibly. The site allows parents to assign chores and is more motivating and meaningful for children to fulfill them. When kids do chores and earn points (money) they can “Share” with charities within the myjobchart system.

How does myjobchart work?

My job chart is a free online chore chart for kids. It helps parents stay organized and teach kids about work and how to manage and use money wisely.

How or why did your team come up with myjobchart?

We have 6 kids and we needed a way to quickly and easily help our kids stay on track and use technology to do it. Paper charts on the refrigerator was not cutting it anymore!  Now there are 260,000 registered members in less than 2 years!  Guess I wasn’t the only one with this problem.

What are some of the ways the service cuts down on paper clutter?

See above. No more printing out chore lists and taping them or using a magnet to put them on the refrigerator. No more huge white boards with the same stuff on them. It’s all online and so there is no paper involved.  Yay!

What has been the response of the families that have used the product?

Helps motivate their kids because kids these days love technology.

What are some of the challenges you see with kids and busy families?

One of the major challenges is just simply keeping up with everything and staying on track.  MJC helps families stay organized by prioritizing and keeping things in one place so everyone knows what is expected of them for each day.

About My Job Chart

My Job Chart gives parents the satisfaction of seeing their kids gain the foundation skills of a strong work ethic and financial responsibility.

My Job Chart was just endorsed by the Cox Communications System and has been integrated into its website. MyJobChart.com helps over 250,000 parents and children to track their school work, chores and practices.

My Job Chart was created and launched in 2009, by Gregg Murset, a Certified Financial Planner, from the Phoenix metro area.

MyJobChart.com has developed money management relationships with several major banks. With ING Direct Bank, MyJobChart.com members can now open a Kids Savings Account, with no fees, and no minimum balances. In addition, children, ages 9 and up, can have added “real-world” experience if they sign up for an ING Direct Money Debit Card through MyJobChart.com. The card allows children to learn lessons in spending and tracking money, but it also has a safety valve as it can be set up so when the child uses it, the parent gets a text message telling where and how much was spent.

My Job Chart can be used for free. www.MyJobChart.com
