I hired Matt Baier for a full day after emptying 3closets filled with clothing and dozens of pairs of shoes. This was an accumulation of over 30years of collecting items. The two women he sent came equipped with a sorting table and plastic bags for different charities. They were wonderful and so professional that they were done in half the time. Am happy to recommend them.
Excellent overall experience
GREAT work!! Two people are sent and my ;manager" was Christa who was phenomenal!! She came twice with two different assistants and I liked the second one better tho both worked well. I desperately needed their help and they are truly wonderful....but if they had better "package deals"...like 3 rooms for X dollars, I think I would like it better. Instead, you are billed by "session" (3 hours in am or pm) and it is hard for the customer to know enough about the process to "predict" how much time they will need. My initial plan was for one session (at about $400 for the two staff) and I ended up signing up for an extra day ($800) and one more session coming up this week. All total, I will be spending about 1600 ...and while the work is necessary, I think that someone who makes a commitment for a total of 4 sessions should get a discount ( Matt considers 25$ off as a 'discount" but 25$ is added per session for boxes). I wish it would be 3 sessions and the 4th half prince or something similar. The quality of their workers is excellent...neat, pleasant and trustworthy. My home looks and feels so much better but frankly, the fact that it is costing me so much money makes me second guess whether there was another way I could have accomplished the same goal without such a large pay-out. Most charge about the same price so it is not a matter of poor selection on my part...I interviewed one woman who charged $600 per day but she worked alone and it is now clear to me that to maximize effectiveness, a minimum of two people are necessary. I would hire them again in a heartbeat...but winning the Lotto would help me LOL
I gifted my husband with their 2-day service to organize his home office. This was the best, most useful birthday present I could have gotten him. With the capable lead of the two-person team that came, my husband's office was transformed from a 'drowning pool of clutter' into his long-wished-for 'productive sanctuary'! An EXCELLENT investment! Highly recommended!

We work in 6-hour days. That’s about right for a typically cluttered garage or basement. A whole house can be between 3 and 9 days. Every home is different. That’s why I do a free consultation.
The work we do is somewhere between that of a house cleaner and a design consultant, therefore we charge somewhere between, so we may be more affordable than you think. Request a complete rate sheet at matt@mattbaier.com.
People who hire us tend to be very busy and rarely available for the full 6 hour session. That’s fine. We can do all of the sorting, lifting, assigning, and systems independently, but it’s important to remember that we take the team approach and the first member of the team is YOU. You are the decision maker. It’s our job to make those decisions as easy as possible. You only need to be available 10-50% of the time.
