Product Review: Rubbermaid® All Access™ Organizer
However, it must be said, as with all containers, quantity dictates systems. In other words, it makes the most sense, to get clear on the manageable quantity you are keeping before you rush out and buy the appropriate container, to contain it.
That said, I have found that the All Access™ Organizers make the most sense in the garage. They are actually awesome for accessing folded clothes, but you might not find the décor appropriate for any setting outside a dorm room. Yes they could be hidden in a closet for off-season clothing, but then you wouldn’t want to access it that often.
The All Access™ Organizer comes in three sizes.
1. The 11 gallon, 19.5W x 17.5D x 11.6H, small set of two, comes in black, indigo, and turquoise, and sells online at Walmart for $25.94.
2. The 14 gallon, 19.5W x 17.5D x 15H, medium set of two, comes in black, and sells online at Walmart for $29.94.
3. The 16 gallon,19.5W x 22Dx 15H, set of one, comes in blue, and sells at Home Depot for $16.97.
If you already have a set of storage shelves, you might want to question whether you need to pay $29.94 for two 14 gallon all access organizers when you can get two 12 gallon flip top bins for $11.96. Not everything needs to be so accessible.
If you don’t require the structure and height of 72’’ shelves, at about 35 bucks, then the All Access organizers alone could be a very worthwhile investment.
I love the simple technology of the All Access™ door. Just lift it up and drop it down. Here’s a demonstration of it in action.
The Rubbermaid® All Access™ Organizers make the most sense, when you have larger items that you need to be able to see and access regularly. For smaller items, I would go with drawers, preferably clear ones. For less frequently accessed items, one to four times a year, a clear bin is fine. However, for larger items, you access daily to monthly, the Rubbermaid® All Access™ Organizer is a terrific solution.
